Question How to make a link and categorize titles?

Hello everyone! I have seen some websites having categories aside from their archives. I would like to know how to make one? Also, when i write a blog it shows i can add a link and labels but when i get to publish it, i dont see the link attached to what i wrote. And when i click the labes on what i wrote it just brings me back to the same blog. Its quite confusing and i have difficulty figuring what i did wrong or how to make it right when im still understanding the language on how to create a site.

Keep in touch!

I don't know much about blogger but...

http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.p...n&answer=44498

That should help with labels.

Labels=TAGS and for you label=CATEGORY. I think you should go to the TEMPLATE and ADD the labels thingy for them to show. You get there from you dashboard--layout or if you select edit post you will see a tab at the top--TEMPLATE.

Once at the template/layout select "add page element"...labels are half-way down.

Also I saw something on the blog so I grabbed the source...

<div class='widget-content'>
http://www.clixsense.com/?2305857
<a href="http://www.clixsense.com/?2305857"><img style="border: solid 1px;" src="http://www.clixsense.com/Ad/clix1.gif"/></a>
</div>

You can get rid of the bolded part because it shows on the blog but it doesn't link to anything. The <A HREF...around the image is all you need.

For a blogger blog, labels are categories as MikeD mentioned. Label each of your posts in a specific category.

To display your labels (categories) in a list:

1. From the blogger dashboard, click Layout. You should now see a graphic view of your template.

2. Determine where you want your list to appear, and then click Add a Page Element. A new window that shows all the widgets should pop up.

3. From the list, find Labels and then click Add to Blog. The labels configuration window will appear.

4. Make any changes you wish and then click Save Changes.

Your label list should now appear on your blog. All posts under each label will appear when you click one of the links.

At the top of your new post box are several buttons. Between the text color button and the align left button is the link button. It looks like a chain link sitting on a globe.

When you want to post a link to some site, type in whatever phase you want to use, like "click here" or the website title. Then highlight the phrase and click the link button.

A window will pop up and you enter the URL there.

If you click the edit HTML tab, you can enter the code manually with the proper tags. It would look something like this, <a href="http://somesite">Click Here</a>.
