Hello everyone recently behind the scenes i have been creating a web hosting site using a reseller package from HostGator. I understand the competition is huge but im willing to give it my all.

I am thinking about offering a few people free hosting for a month. This would give me the opertunity to test everything and get used to WHM and supporting my customers. While giving some people who perhaps have a domain a change to see what paid hosting is like, there is also the chance they will stay after the 1st month. Is this a good idea?

I will be posting for a review of my new site once i get WHM set up.

Also is it ok for me to add my new hosting website in my signature as well as concept skateboarding?

I added conceptskateboarding to one of my pages on my WHM account and it works really well. Im really impressed with how it all works.

I think it is bad idea, if you want to be good reseller you need more money to invest.
Another thing maybe tou need to try to do it, maybe I'm wrong - jsut find people who need that one month free hosting And who will stay after that one month and pay money

I don't know how Hostgator's reseller program works, but can't you test their services somehow without selling? GoDaddy allows you to purchase your own products from your own rseller site and they'll refund you if you don't want to keep it.

Yeah that is the plan, but i was thinking it would be a good opertunity to test everything as well.

Thanks for your reply, im not sure about that im going to have to look in to it. I have read about people buying services and then cancelling to test i might have to do that.

Oh thats good then, i love coming on this forum and this will be another great reason to do so.
