Default Unique Hits

Are "unique hits" how many people have visited your site? If so, how do I find out how many unique hits I have?

Hi,

Normally a statistics counter will tell you how many "unique visitors" you have. These are not the same as "hits". You just need a free site counter that gives you stats. Try statssheet.com or google analytics for your site.

Most web hosting companies have stats counters on their servers

Alternatively you can install counters eg. Google urchin, onestat, activemeter etc.

You just get a a script and include it on web pages
