Default Question for Lisa

Hi Lisa,
I just saw your website about flattening your stomach. I think it's great. My question is about time management. That is what I consider a "real" website. Not that blogs and the like aren't or can't be real, but that site has all related info, products, adsense, etc that I expect to see on a professional site. If I may ask, how many "real" websites do you operate?

I am trying to follow your advice about focusing on what I like. It is amazing how much there is to be, and can be done with a website. My niche stuff is cute, but so far I haven't come across anything that will expand into a real site like yours (I mean a subject that I am interested in building to that level). How many of those things can you keep going at one time, and still keep up on them?

Oh, one last thing..I am also from St.Louis, I lived in the Manchester, Kirkwood, Webster Groves areas mostly...what area were you in? I do miss the place.

Thanks mobiiart

I have 2 sites and this forum. To be honest, the fitness site pretty much runs on autopilot and I hardly update it anymore. But to answer your question, that really depends on you. And if you really enjoy what you do then you won't find it being as much of a chore running multiple sites.

And of course you get out of them what you put into them. But once they start generating enough traffic then you'll find it's not as time consuming. Some people run 6,7 or even 8 affiliate sites. I can't imagine doing that many. 2 keep me busy enough but as I said 2create is my main site that I spend the most time on.

I don't live in St. Louis anymore but I was in North County (Florissant area) Small world!

Default Ok

Thank you for the information Lisa. I am trying to get out of my "set and forget" mode, and develop a real site, once I can decide on a niche or market I want to stick with. That's not as easy as people make it sound. It seems that after someone tells me how to decide on a niche, I ask them if they followed that same advice to find their niche, they almost always say..."Well, no, it was different for me, I just kind of fell into it." Haaaa!
