Thread: ZoneEdit, NameServers and no DNS

Hi,

I'm trying to set up DNS using ZoneEdit for a registar that has no DNS but accepts one nameserver.

Using ZoneEdit, I've created two A records and entered the I.P. I want the domain to resolve too.

The registrar tells me the request is pending, and it may really only be a matter of waiting patiently for the changes to take effect. But since I have never created my own DNS before, I'd like to show some screen shots and get any advice or opinions.

I have a few specific questions for future reference:

• Did I use the correct name server (ns3.zoneedit.com instead of ns2.zoneedit.com)?
• Which nameserver should I enter when only one is accepted?
• Does the broken link icon on ZoneEdit Zone indicate it is waiting for the domain host to accept the namserver change request?
