Yes you can. But here is what happens. When you install majicjack it saves all your information in the little box. But all this means is that when it is plugged into her computer is she will have your phone number. She will not have her own number. The voice mail will be the same as the one you set up as well. But that is one of the nice things is you can go to a coffe shop on a laptop and still have your phone with you. Majicjack is not tied to any specific computer or IP like a normal voip is. so in reality if you have kids in other countries you can buy one set it up on your pc and then send it to them and talk when ever you like with no extra charges as the number will still be a US number.

I found a good site with lots of freeware bug programs...One that I tried is called, Agent Trojan Cleaner 1.0.0 for the win 32. It's a program by the same guy who made NOD32 Anti-Virus Software, which I have learned is a highly rated program.

If you run the program, disable your anti-virus and other programs first. I ran it on mine and didn't find anything..

The site that had this software, also has a host of other Trojan killers...Wareseeker.com. Don't know anything aobut the site, but my a2 squared flagged it as a safe site...

    William,

I did a quick search on Trend Micro, and seems that although it finds the Troj-Gen bug people have not been able to delete it with the program. I know that we had that one last year, and it is nasty.

I would disable Trend Micro, then run MalwareBytes. I would update first, so you have the latest threats, then do a complete scan on everything. If the files show up, quarantine them or delete them. After that, run another scan and see if it is clean.

When we get these things, we do that, plus then run our anti-virus as a check, then run our registry cleaner. We have also gone to ADD/Remove programs to see if the bug file is their and also looked in the file that the bug is attached to, to see if the folder exists.

If none of that works you can do a System Restore, which will let you restore your computer to an earlier date, without losing any of your work. (Make sure to close any programs, before doing that however).

I'll look and see if I can find any additional info...

On the running multiple software at the same time. They say not to run have two separate anti-virus programs. I have done this for years, but always had problems...I had a major conflict, when I installed a2Squared and had to delete my anti-virus. I am now looking for one that will run with a2.

I haven't had any trouble running more than one spyware, or malware program. It's all about trial and error and see what works. I keep MalwareBytes and Adaware current and run them at different times.

A few notes...are you connected via a wireless connection? Do you use a Firewall? Do you keep your anti-virus up to date and run regular checks?

I had AVG on mine for years, but a newer version didn't work so well, so went with Avast Home Edition, which turned out to be pretty good. I also used Adaware, MalwareBytes, Registry Cleaner, Advanced System Care, a2Squared.

As for getting rid of bugs, the two that have worked the best are Avast Anti-Spyware and MalwareBytes. Both are free, at downloads.com . When running these things, you also want to check all your drives and files...as their maybe something hidden.

You can also go online using Google search and type the name of the bug...I have done this on numerous occasions, for removal instructions. A good place to check on various threats are places like Norton, McAfee etc.

If you send me the name of the bugs, I can try and see if I can find a removal tool. Other things you can do, are do a System Restore to and earlier time. In the worst case, you may have to reformat the hard drive which is a pain.

Everything I use for protection for the computer is freeware...with the exception, that I have won several good programs at WindowsTalk. Anyway, we use a combination of things.

The bugs on the wife's computer, are caused mostly by her turning off the protection to speed up her computer and a sons use of downloading music which is filled with bugs.

I on the other hand, keep everybody off of mine, lol! We used Adaware for years, but I won a2 Squared off of Windows Talk, which is an excellent program so far. The only drawback is that it wouldn't work with AVG which we used for Anti-Virus protection.

On the wife's computer we use AVG Anti-Spyware, Adaware, MalwareBytes, and Registry Cleaner. We just started using Advanced System Care which we really like so far.

Can't give you much advice on the car, as am an old carpenter not a mechanic, lol! I did have an old 71 Ford pickup years ago, that had a rebuilt engine put in. Like a new car, the mechanic told me to take it easy for the first 500 miles to break it in.

I would say going up a hill slowly is more due to the 4 cylinder or the fuel. I had two four bangers in the past, and neither one was good going up a hill, even with manual transmissions.

Someone told me then to try premium fuels, but I didn't notice any difference, than it cost me more money.
