A few things I've tried for inpointing links...

I just added my website (and a few other resources to this list):

I don't hope to get any traffic from this, but I'm hoping the inbound links will help my site ranking.

I don't know whether or not it has made a difference, but I am finally getting a little traffic from Ggoogle and some of my pages are climbing in the rankings. HTH!

Now I'm on to blogging and social bookmarking...

ETA: Lisa, let me know if the external links in this post are okay. I just wanted to give examples people could follow.

This is great and I'm sure others may benefit from these. In the future, though just put the link to the main site you used "hubpages.com", "listable.com" instead of the entire link to your own article. That way everyone is not suddenly posting links to their own articles here.

I know you weren't trying to self promote but others may get the idea that's OK and I don't want everyone to start posting links to their own articles.

Good stuff Jazzy! Keep doing things like this and over time this will help build your inbound links.

It is tricky at first, but easy once you get the hang of it. I created new lists at 3 list websites this week and it only took minutes because I was already registered and already understood the system.
