Default Video editing software help

What is the best frame rate in Windows Movie Maker to stop my videos from being choppy? Is there a better video editing software to give you more control?

Hmmmm.... I just use the default and haven't had to change anything. Which OS are you running now?

I am running xp. When I launched movie maker for the first time, I did change some settings. You know us men, when we see a button, we push it. I'll try resetting the defaults.

Thanks for reminding me to try the default settings first.

LOL, so true. I have Vista and never used the XP version but I would imagine they are about the same. Yeah hopefully switching to the defaults will work for you.

For most web videos, 30 fps is best. Also, make sure that you deinterlace your source video (no fields).
