Default My music has moved my page down.

Hello everybody, I am having a problem with my sites music. I uploaded a midi file and then edited the html and the music plays just like it should however my page has moved down and left a blank space above it. I followed the tutorial to the letter but it did not mention this side effect. Can anyone explain how to fix it? I just want to play one midi when the page loads and thats it, no player or controls, any help? Thanks
PS This I believe is a case in point for my sig.

I'm loving the sig. Can you post a link to your site so we can at least look at the code. Maybe that will help us troubleshoot.

Does this mean that it's fixed? or were you referring to something else?

We don't laugh at anyone's accomplishments.

I have visited your site and noticed that the background and images to the right are rather large. Yoou may want to look into shrinking down the file sizes.

Default Well thank you all! TechieGuy,ssmorgan, and lisa

I was really nervous about letting anyone see my site. I went on a trip to Santa Cruz, Cal. and I saw some Zen Gardens so after quite a bit of reading I began making them myself and when I enlisted the help of a few real craftspeople I got the idea to sell them on the web. I have no money so I am learning to build the site as I go and in the process I have learned that I love to build websites far more than Zen Gardens. I was also afraid of my idea getting boosted but after reading a few posts in this forum I feel a little better about that. You all seem to be very caring, giving people and the Creator would not have put me here unless there was a reason.
TechieGuy, thank you for taking the time and visiting my site. I think you are talking about image optimization? I am looking for a good free app to do this
ssmorgan, in answer to your question, yes it, (the sound problem) is fixed. However I still am looking for public domain midi files or other file types that will work with that html code edit. I tried flash and it sounded all garbled and mp3 never played at all. I would like to know what file types load fast like midi?
Lisa, I am very greatful for your response. Now I can say someone other than myself has visited my site. I hope to hear from you again, chris

I love the site, and I love zen gardens you may be getting an order from me soon!

If I may critique jut one thing, the speed of the scrolling text at the top if a little fast to read, or at least is is on my computer, I am using firefox. You other guys see the same, or is it just me?

I have optimized your background image to make it smaller for you.

The original size was about 1.8MB and the optimized size is 130KB.

If you don't like the new image I can always adjust the compression, but the image will be larger.

You can get the image here: New Background Image.

Default Hi nixwebo and TechieGuy, Thanks!

I want to thank you, TechieGuy for compressing that image. I put it up and noticed a major improvement right away. It had such a profound effect that I put all the images on a flash drive and gave them to another friend so he could compress them all! I have been checking out your site, nixwebo and I downloaded WebCEO and am learning how to use it. This is all new to me so there is a lot to digest. I feel like that guy in the desert who just stumbled into an oasis. I'm drinking slow but it's so hard. Well I am going to work so forgive me if I don't respond quickly and thank you thank you thank you
chris
ps, nixwebo, that banner works ok in IE7 and Opera (it is supposed to load and stop) but when I tried it in the mozilla browsers, it just keeps scrolling away so I figured 2 out of 3 wasn't too bad
