Default PICTURE FRAME GIF WANTED

Hi

Does anybody know where I could download an image of a picture frame.

I have boxes of text in my site, which i would like to suround with picture frames, like a timber effect surround, which I could then use as a background image within the box

All being well, this would go to make the text stand out more

All the boxes are made using the % values, so how would I get the image, assuming one is available to stick esxactly to the box size ... or would that be the default setting

thanks !

For the frame, try a stock site like stock.xchng (free) or iStock (not free).

The second part of your question is interesting, and I don't have a good answer unfortunately. I was going to suggest doing something like this, but you'll end up with two unmitred corners. You could hack it by making a couple of pngs of the top right and bottom left corners that fade to transparent in perhaps 1-200px and place them over the other frame sections at the corners. It should look OK if you choose a relatively plain frame.

Or you could probably do it with the canvas element, though it wouldn't work in older browsers or IE.

Anyone got better ideas?
