Hi, i'm a new member, so this is the only place i can post things... I was wandering if any one could help answer my question. On youtube.com, if someone has a username you want, but that person hasn't been on youtube in almost a year + he doesn't have any post, does the youtube account expire? I would like to know so i could make that account my website.
I do not know the answer to your question...I would suggest you go on youtube and pose that same question to the people who administer that site. I am sure they can answer it for you. Good luck...William Wilson
Unfortunately, YouTube accounts do NOT expire. I would suggest trying something different, instead of skaterdude, try sk8erdude or sk8terdude. The options are endless
You might try sending that YouTube user a message and simply let them know that you would like to use that name for your website and if they are no longer very active. would they consider closing their account so you can use the name. I know this is probably a stretch but you never know. stranger things have happened. All they can say is no. In that case you might just put a number after the name or try spelling it a different unique way?
I can relate to this Youtube is going to be really important for promoting my website in the future and conceptskateboarding has been taken! then user of it is very active so there is no chance i will ever get it... i now use conceptskatemedia now which is a terible name cry
