Default Tinypic images ok to use?

Hey guys, turns out the biggest problem im having with my website is one i never even considered before starting, finding images to use. My site is a boxing and mma news site so as you can imagine pictures are needed. I was looking trough the tiny pic terms and found this...

Quote:
TinyPic does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you post on or through the TinyPic Services. By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content on or through the TinyPic Services, you hereby grant to TinyPic and other users a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, worldwide, limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and translate such Content, including without limitation distributing part or all of the Site in any media formats through any media channels. Content will be publicly available, and TinyPic and other Users may copy or display Content outside of the TinyPic Services through the quick link feature or through any other display mechanisms.
Check for yourself here.. http://tinypic.com/terms.php

So what you guys think? Are they ok to use?

Default Possibly a useful site.

Looks interesting but I would be aware of a few concerns.

For example, what you quoted sounds like you can really use the images for anything you wish, but what about this (also part of the legalese of the terms of use):

Quote:
The TinyPic Services are for the personal use of Users and may be used for promotional purposes as well, but direct commercial endeavors may only be used if they are specifically endorsed or authorized by TinyPic.
I would think it would be important to ask before using them on a site designed to make money or in ebooks or whatever.

Also, some may be concerned about what this means:

Quote:
In order to participate in certain TinyPic Services, you may be notified that you are required to download software or content and/or agree to additional terms and conditions from TinyPic.
I also note statements on the site observing that when you register to use the site, or in other processes, they collect personal information about you so they can place ads on their site directed at you. You may or may not feel this is a worthwhile trade for your personal data.

Finally, I would note that the pictures/images come from participants and the legality of their use depends on their honesty as to having rights to contribute the pictures. This may or may not be adequate to protect users. It would likely be adequate (?). At the same time, there is not even a mention of model rights so any images with people in them would be of questionable use.

Yes i understand the concerns. Everything has some small print. But i think if it came down to it, what they have in their terms could be seen as go ahead to use the images.

What about other sites like flicker and so on, they run along the same lines right?
