hey guys

i have a psd

and there is text

but i have to modify it


when i hit the T button for text in photoshop

and i click on the text i have to edit, it goes to make a new layer

when i just want it to highlight and edit the text

Is the text that you want to edit currently a layer? If it is, then you have to select that layer first and then select the text.
