I allpyed for my Youtube partnership a while ago (about a month.) I had not heard anything until today. I recieved and email saying that one of my videos was acceptable for the revenue sharing problem. I checked to see if my partnership had been declined by Youtube but it says it is still in review. I decided to go ahead and monetize the video because I figured that it would give me a better chance of being accepted into the whole program.
The video is my one of creating a simple flash image gallery. You can see it by going to my channel in my sig. The revenue sharing says that if any copyrightedmaterials are used including images and software that your video could be deleted if rejected. This is my most popular video and I dont want that to happen.
The video contains 4 default images found on all windows vista computers. I also use the program Adobe Flash. I know that many partners on Youtube use these programs in their videos and monetize them. As far as the images go do you think that I am ok? I get a chance to explain my video what do you think I should say?
If you're video has been accepted for the Youtube revenue sharing program that means Youtube already reviewed your video and it's allowed to be displayed.
If you get accepeted for the Youtube partnership program that means Youtube trusts you will upload cleanly non-copyrighted videos.
How do you know if your video is copyright or not?
If you display images that you do not OWN or have DISTRUBITON rights to you are not allowed to display them in your video's. This includes MUSIC to.
