    Default Animation software

Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone here has a recommendation regarding a good professional animation software, a 2d one will do (no need for 3d). If you experienced a software like this one, please write some ad/disadvantages

    Flash for 2d.

Blender for 3D because it is free and fabulous.

I heard about Maya that it's very very good. I've also heard that it's mainly for 3d.

Maya is pro but expensive. It will definately set you back a bit. I wasnt lying about Blender being fabulous. It can match the output of Maya on most levels.

    Hi..
My campus use this software called Toon Boom and Flash for 2D.
It depends on what kind of animation you want to do. If you wanna do a real 2D animation like those we always watch (Tom and Jerry, and those Disney 2D cartoons), it is better to use Toon Boom rather than Flash. But if you are doing just a simple animation, Flash is good enough.

I know I've seen this all over Myspace! hahahahah
Even if i could get a little sparkling "glittered" light to float across the screen around there heart.

Let me try out Toon Boom and Flash!

If you just need it for 2D, why not just use Flash?

I would suggest Flash, not too difficult to learn with a bit of reading and tutorials, at least for animation, there is a 30 day free trial over at macromedia(.)com
