Default Is Citing Information from Books ok?

Is it possible I can add information from books to my site, including the complete bibliography?
I am not going to sell anything, just introduce information, giving the compete credits to those who wrote that information.

Default unlikely...

Quoting from sources is to add authority to your work and to add specific relatively small bits of information that is not readily available from more than one source and occasionally to refer to an especially unusual way to express an idea.

This question is bothersome, especially in view of the word "complete."

It sounds like you may be crossing the line if I understand you correctly.

If the old Sarge is around perhaps he can suggest some of his sources for you to review. He is particulary well informed on this subject and has some good references that I think you would profit from reading.

By "complete" bibliography I referred using a reference format such as MLA to inform the book's name, author, year, day I used it, editor, etc.

Default OK

That would not be a problem. In the case of a single bibliographic entry you are not really copying content that is dependent on that author. You or anyone else would be producing the exact same content if you did it yourself. They do not really have a "copyright" on that content either unless they have a unique format (which could be possible, though unlikely) or if it is annotated in some way.
