Question Downloading files from my site

I am making a website for the local Junior fire department. I am usuing microsoft publisher 2007. I want to put a downloadable copy of an application on the site, but i'm not sure the best way to do it. I've used Frontpage before, and Publisher works almost the same. Can anyone help me?

If you're using Windows, right-click your application file and choose "Send to.... Zip/Compressed" file. This will zip the application up into a folder. Now upload this zip folder to your web server. The path should be something like yourdomain.com/folder.zip Just point to this file and it will prompt for download.
