Also, I noticed that the horizontal navigation bar breaks over 2 lines (in Firefox) but in IE7, it only shows 1 line, but it doesn't show iPhones or PSP.

Since you have "Online Store" on the left, it may be better to just include Home, Reviews, Store on the top horizontal bar. Hope this makes sense.

Just curious... do you get a lot of traffic from the search engines, and if so, do you get clicks/pageviews on your store?

Hi smorgan, and a lot of thanks for your humble opinion..
I had already noticed what your saying but the very thruth is that Im new in all this and I still haven't had the oportunity to fix it... I used my firefox browser today what you also mentioned and to be honest I was totally unaware of that...
Its true you see two bars with firefox and just one with IE7...
Im pretty sure that would be something really easy to fix but like I said I will have to take some html lessons..

Thank you morgan...

This is the story of my life. Yes it's completely normal. Firefox and IE display certain codes differently and it can be frustrating when you're designing.

Some programmers know "hacks" and other CSS tricks that can remedy this but this has always been a problem of mine from time to time as well.

Default This is something that affects me as well

This seems to be an universal problem. I have encountered it many times with my sites with different templates. Frustrating to say the least-Works perfect in firefox and then distorts in IE (certain versions) What I do :

Try different templates-There are a lot out there to choose from.

If you just love your current template then try to promote Firefox download-some people will download it and see the site just like you want it to be seen.

Accept that some people will not see the site as you wish

Hope for some webdesigner to show you the "Fix"

Don't even get me started on what is wrong with IE! We currently have web compliant standards for cross-integration. This means that if the code is compliant it will be cross-compatible in different browsers - Internet explorer is the exception and makes it very difficult to write code for every browser. (Microsoft doesn't care) ...I said don't get me started...

For some help with this and common hacks to some of the common problems, check here:

you should be able to find help with most problems there. If you need more I can post more links, I have lots...

Default You already got started.....

Hello,

Good site lot of info ---Wonder if you could take a look at my site in IE - and notice how the right side floats to the middle and covers up some of the content-and how it looks in firefox--What would fix this-I really couldn't tell on the site. Talking about first site in sig.

Thanks

Hey Lear1,

I noticed your using wordpress for this site. Your template should have two additional style sheets, one for ie6 and one for ie7. If it does not have that, the easiest thing to do is simply download another three column template that has that available and switch them over. That is a three-click process, rather than trying to rewrite the php files after you hunt down which one has the problem.
You can also search wordpress.org for information on IE display properties with wordpress. Believe me, doing that will save you a lot of headaches.
By the way, you may want to update your WP to 2.3.3, you have 2.3.2

If that is not an option for you (different template, not updating) let us know.

Default Stuck on Template

Hey,

Kinda stuck on this template after experimenting with about 40 others--didn't see two different style sheets--Believe it or not kinda new to all this but excited about the learning and experiences and the fun with the hopes of Making Money fringe benefits-Kinda of scared about the update seems you could mess up your site or something or lose things when I read up on it. Man you wouldn't believe how much time I have put into this site-fun obsession-I LOVE TO LAUGH AND MAKE OTHERS LAUGH. Thanks for feedback -Really Appreciated!!
