Wow, XML in Flash is kicking my butt! At first I thought it would be easy after reading up on the basic structure of XML. But when you put it with Flash, things get out of control for me.

If I want to create my own Flash player and RSS feed readers, I'm gonna have to suck it up and learn it, right?

The easiest way is to download all the files first then deconstruct them as you go through the tutorial. It is definitely to your advantage to read through the entire tutorial. You will learn a lot of techniques that you can apply to many other applications as well. It is specifically for MX.
