It's working for me in Firefox but not IE. Clear your cache and try again.

Hmmmm..... I just cleared my cache and it's not working in IE for me either.

If I remember correctly, IE is silly about that... the favicon only shows up if the website is bookmarked.

Yeah, ssmorgan is right. IE really does have some trouble with favicons.. and if you do bookmark your site you'll see it starts working. I don't know if it is made intentionally or if it is bug.

But you can't hope everything to work.. After all it is M$..

Oooooooh! That's right. I haven't used IE in so long, I forgot about that. C'mon IE, that should be an easy fix. Microsoft.... ugh!!

you might try adding the attribute:

type="image/ico"

as many have already said, IE is kinda stupid...
