Default Wordpress: Most recent post
I'm looking for some kind of widget or code which will allow me to display my most recent Wordpress post (the entire post) on the homepage of my website.
I intend to have it as a sort of news feed for my site which I can easily update update every few days.

I'm thinking that I need some sort of php code, but I'm not really sure. My pages are all .php so that shouldn't be a problem if necessary...

Thanks for any help or advice you can give me,

I don't think there is really a "Wordpress plugin" for this specefic thing I would try looking within your Wordpress templates settings.

You can simply create a new instance of WP_Query() object. It sorts all posts according to most recent.

Has anybody used Google AJAX Feed API? I was thinking that I could possibly use it as my solution, by I've never used it or know anything about it.
Any help?

There actually is a recent posts plugin even though you can do it with just a few lines yourself. Just google "recent posts plugin wordpress"

Oh great! I knew you could display the titles of your recent posts with FB but I didn't know you could display an entire post.
