More Coding/Design Videos from Lisa

Just a quick announcement, I've pretty much abandoned my 2createawebsite channel on YouTube so I've decided to start breathing some life into once again. I've been getting a lot of request to do some basic PhotoShop, CSS and many other tutorials on YouTube and I am trying to honor that request.

I just added a new PhotoShop header vid a few minutes ago so if you are not subscribed to this channel make sure you do. I plan to grow this channel a lot more in the next few months thanks to the wonders of Camtasia Studio (screen recording software).

P.S. Don't ask why I didn't just use this channel for all my videos in the very beginning. I am still kicking myself for initially posting videos to my lisa3876 channel. Branding is everything folks. Don't forget that!

I guess the positive side is I can separate the kinds of videos I do. So I have reserved the 2createawebsite YouTube channel for videos on programming, coding, design, techy-type stuff while my other channel (lisa3876) will remain for marketing, promotion, making money online, etc.

If you have some suggestions/requests for videos for my 2createawebsite channel please feel free to either post them here or in the channel comments. Thanks!!! I'm going to "stick" this thread here for a bit.

Ah cool, theres nothing like a little organization.

Lisa, in one of your videos you mentioned, of various tutorials on the net, on how to create a horizontal Nav bar with CSS. Even though ive found some decent text tutorials, ive found nothing definitive that paints a clear picture of this for me. So creating one, on CSS and horizontal navigation would be awesome.

Also im kinda confused between the differences in the controls of the style sheets vs the functions of a HTML editor. And what the differences are between templates, stylesheets, CSS,HTML,XHTML,SHTML and Includes and which ones are and are not compatible with each other.

Now off to watch your new video. You've been busy lately.

I like the sound of that idea,

i think it will work well since it will mean your 2createawebsite channel is a reliable coding source.

Your Lisa channel is great because its shows you as a person rather than a company

Also, check out the Firebug video. If you've ever seen someone's site and thought "How'd they do that??" but didn't know how to look at their CSS, this tool makes it easier. It's also good for testing your own HTML and CSS right from your browser without having to open an editor.

I have just watched your first four CSS videos. They are very good and it has inspired me to start learning a bit more about building from scratch, especially since I have been into my template today and tweaked a few things.

Next project is to change my background colour.

Lisa, I just finished looking at your CSS/HTML videos. Your videos made my hours of studying books and reading tutorials online make sense. Thank you for taking the time to create those. I truly do feel more assured about the subject now.

I want to become a web developer and a programmer and for that I learned asp.net but what I don't know anything about is CSS. I will try out your videos and I know they will help me.

I am subscribed to your channel but I don't watch your videos but I will do that from now on.
