Try this.
This comes from off line work (which I know a little about instead of online marketing at which I am still something of a novice) but I think it should have pretty good carry over. Do some research on the people who have already purchased.
Contact them and thank them for their purchase. Then ask them to help you continue to improve your service to your customers by answering a couple of questions.
#1 is to tell you how they found you site.
#2 is why they decided to buy from you rather than someone else.
Thank them again.
Then, using the information you learn you can do two things. Focus your web site content a little to take advantage of the buying motives. (Ex. if they bought based on price comparison to others, call more attention to your great prices.)
Second, based on where they learned about you, focus more of your attention on those activities.
