What is your bounce rate?

As some of you know, last month I changed my site to use wordpress as the content manager. The home page for the last month has been my blog. Before I had a friendly intro page with many keywords on it.

In month 1 my bounce rate was 28%, with the origonal homepage. In month 2 with my blog as the homepage the bounce rate was 49% and a much reduced adsense income per visit. Traffic sources were largely the same for both months. So I have changed my homepage to a similar page to the original and I will see how it goes. I imagine noone can really answer the "what is a good bounce rate?" question as there are too many variables. So I will just ask what your bounce rates are and if you have managed to improve them

well in my first month the bounce rate was way way high at 88%-89%. But after
a month now, it has come down drastically to 48% 49%. And it's decreasing still

My bounce rate used to be up in the 70's but went down to the 30's when I added videos. You wanna make your site sticky? Add some video, for sure!

Mines around 47 - 50 atm but my site has'nt been live for that long. Im really worried my site visitor rating has gone down drastically in the last few days. Probably cause ive had a break from adding content. Im still working on my site uniqueness i keep a notepad attached to me at all times!

My affiliate site come in at 50% bounce rate. I'm sure I could lower that if I removed all or some of the ads.
