how to promote a classified ads site?

hi everybody..
I finally started this adventure and I have started with the promotion ..you know, forums, links, other clasifieds, etc..
With this I got few traffic, but I just cant get members..
I am veeery

To get members, you will have to implement new ideas. People love free stuff,, and if you give some nominal free stuff to your visitors, like a free wallpaper, or ringtone, or video download etc the people with come flying to your site.

if you wants to promote your free classified site you should have to put banner on big sites which gets high Traffic.

Well you can start of by posting free classifieds to different sites to get free direct traffic and some back links then start submitting to directories,search engines and post on some blogs that should get you up and ruining!

First, create a short text ad. It should be precise and brief. Then get a good list from google and submit your ad there. Most ads sites are free of charge so it won't be a problem. They also have a how-to section to help you post your ad. Good luck!

I ma not sure that there is space for more slasified sites in internet.

To get members you have to have website visitors. How many visitors are coming to your site each day? Once you have visitors then is a matter of having the right copy on your site to convert them into customers. If you are not getting any visitors then you will have to promote your site using SEO or PPC strategies.

How about making an online contest or something? Or maybe you can give away some online freebies? If you have money to spend, I suggest you also opt for PPC campaign of Google and Facebook.

For get more traffic you need to do some more promotion work like:

1. Email campaign
2. Social media promotions
3. Free stuff and gifts coupons promotions
4. Participate in online discussion forum
5. One more offline promotions: banner and hording

If you do these things or place your attractive banner on popular sites you can get good traffic and then you can convert it in your member.
