Squidoo - Have you done it?

Hi, I was just wondering how many of you have made Squidoo lenses and how well they are working for you.

I made one for my craft site and have had a few hits from it.

So, is it best to have one lens and just keep building on it or should you work on creating multiple lenses?

Squidoo.com can be a great and a very effective tool. In addition to the internal Squidoo.com traffic, Google seems to like to index Squidoo lenses. This has not always been the case, however... after a surge of spammy lenses, Google slapped Squidoo big time, but Google adjusted their algorithm to reward good lenses and de-index spammy ones.

Just make sure that your Squidoo lens contains good quality content (at least 3 to 4 text modules).

Now, regarding the issue of one or multiple lenses... I would treat a lens like a webpage... I would focus each lens on 1 or 2 related keywords... so, if you want multiple topics/keywords, I would create multiple lenses... but as long as we're in the same topic/keyword, I would include it all on 1 lens.
