The number of visitors is great, but no results. What is the problem?
StarKaz.com – multilingual trade portal
The number of visitors is great, but no results. What is the problem?
Please, help us to understand and reveal the problem of www.StarKaz.com website work or it’s promotion. A lot of work is done and we continue to make efforts. The percentage of registered users and placed ads is very small. The whole group of specialists tried to make the website as convenient and useful to users as it can ever be. May be somebody will give some advice?

Hi Jayson,
2 things I wanted to ask/point out:
First, how do most of your visitors arrive to your site? i.e. what is the primary source(s) of your traffic?
Second, I think the first page should include some info about the registration, exactly how much would it cost, and what are the benefits of paying and posting ads on your website. Here is why:
As an advertiser, I would be concerned with how much it will cost and how many targeted visitors will my ad reach.
If you include this info right off the bat, potential advertisers wouldn't have to search for it... because if it takes them too long to find the info they need, they tend to give up and move on to the next site.
Hope this helps.

Sherif is right. It really depends on what people expect when they arrive. For example if people are arriving by typing in "post online ads" or "online advertising" then I would expect your conversions to be pretty decent but if your visitors are not very targeted. All traffic is not necessarily good traffic.
I would also include a "Place your ad" link underneath each category section on the homepage. I almost missed that link at the top.
Welcome by the way.

hi...
I would like to say two things...
1. You website looks clean and great. its just that when I arrived to your website, I do not know what is the main topic or information that I could get... I don't get the message or first impression of what the site is all about.
( or it could be just me...I don't know)
2. Origin of your visitors.... are they targeted or random. How long is the average time they spend on your website? You could get this info from you cpanel...
If the average time is say 30 seconds, then you should be able to know that they are looking at the first page and moving on to other website...
If they are spending more and more time on your site, that shows your website is probably receiving a more targeted visitors...
Hope this little info will help...

Great thanx for the help!
Great thanx for your advice!
Well, lot's of people say say that they can't understand (during their first visit) what the website is about.
I can't understand what kind of information to add. What about classifieds topic? May be I should add some information that our site offers classifieds publishing services? (Actually the main idea was to make a website that offers people on-line ad publishing services!)
Would you be so kind (being just a person from aside, as a first-time visitor) advise me something on how to present this information (on-line ad publishing services) to the public?!
I really need your help!
Thanx in advance!
See U!

You need to implement a brief paragraph at least about what your site is about i found it very hard to understand what topic it was about and what it will give me as a person, as that what your visitors are looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
So.. you need to give them quick snappy information on where to provide them with the content that they need and then perhaps they'l start to stay on your site and look around your site and click on some ads, have you not put google adsense on your site?

You need more good original content
Your website looks good. Navaigation is ok. Graphics are great.
I can see a link for home and garden, which is what I am interested in, but when I click on the link it takes me to another link with more links about gardening supplies etc... And those links take me to another page asking me to "place my ad here" Why would I place my ad there....I want to know more about home and garden stuff?
I think you need to narrow down your target market and add more content.
Of course that is just my opinion and like elbows most people have at least two.

Your site Is well organised and tidy and has a lot of nifty ideas. However there is'nt much variations in colour maybe you could present a few brighter colours similar to the header in the left hand corner.
On the promotion side, you might need to embed your ads more and intergrate them into your content. Find out what your target audience is and advertise and promote there, get to know your visitors perhaps even create a blog and become more personal.
