Has anyone tried blogrush.com?

Has anyone tried blogrush.com? Did they send much traffic?
I am thinking about putting it on my blog to see what happens.

Hi PeterM,

I went to blogrush.com and watched the 5-minute video on the homepage, and I have to say, I am intrigued!

I wonder, however, how well it will work... I guess the only way to find out is to add it and see how it works.

Are you going to add it to your blog? Let me know!

I am giving BlogRush a try, but haven't had any visitors from it as of yet. It all depends on your titles within your Web site. Since that is what is displayed in the BlogRush widget, it is what visitors will see. An attractive title may make a visitor click on your link.

I am not the greatest at title creation, but I do try to make them descriptive. BlogRush is constantly updating their code so I'll wait and see what happens.

I did used BlogRush once it was kind of neat but I beleive only big websites with lots of traffic are receiving the benefits.

Yeah, I assumed it would take time to see the benefits of Blog Rush. You need, after all, to generate traffic to your own blog (or refer other successful blogs to Blogrush.com) to gain "syndication credits" - which takes time!

I don't think it would be a problem just to keep the BlogRush blogosphere on your blog and build your traffic over time.

I agree with TechieGuy, about the importance of your blog entry titles. You have to think twice about it... the best thing is to think of the title as a mini PPC ad so it would sound appealing or intriguing, compelling the reader to click.

Now, the blogosphere looks a bit unique, so it may attract attention to it, but I wonder what the CTR generally is, i.e. will blog visitors notice it or ignore it, thinking it's an advertisement of some kind?

I have the Blogrush widget. I have received 7 clickthroughs to my site as of yesterday. It doesn't sound like much, but my blog is only about 6 weeks old.

They are changing a few things, which are supposed to take effect soon, that should improve CTR. Hopefully, things will continue to improve.
