My site has been up a month and I have now had a few emails from my visitors telling me how good my site is and how helpful they find it. This really inspires me to continue to write content and make my site grow.. Isn't it so rewarding when you hear this? :-)

It's always greate to get positive feedback. It's nice to know someone likes what you have to say, and will probably come back for more.

It can be hard to keep writing content when you get no feedback, but all the effort becomes worthwhile when someone enjoys it.

I think that's a good sign and shows that the site has good potential. Your site will do fairly well since you are already getting good feedback.

Peter - it is wonderful when you first realize the power of the web. When you make a difference in peoples lives and realize you did some good.

As you get bigger and bigger the comments change from your site is great to hate mail that borders on criminal.

I run many free sites, hundreds in fact and people send hate mail constantly. If they don't like the sites, they don't have to use them. They are free as I said.

But everyone has their 2 cents to offer and there are more mean people than nice ones voicing their opinions.

I say, enjoy the comments. But if you start getting the hate mail, don't let it get you down. There are many people that will enjoy your work in spite of any bad comments.
