Cool digg and netscape

Hey guys!

Anyone submitted pages of their site to Digg or Netscape?? It's really good. I submitted 2 pages and within 4 hours got 2 diggs(or votes)(for each page) around 15 visitors! Cool isn't it?

That is something I've never gotten into and I keep saying I was going to start "digging." Thanks for the heads up. I need to explore that.

i do that always. i submit my page to digg when i first publish it including 5 more websites related to php.

Digg is a good because you can submit a story on any subject there. So digg is a all-round source for back links.

But i would also encourage you to find sites where you can submit your html tutorials.

try tutorialized.com

I've already submitted a tutorial of mine to tutorialized.com. Its still in review. I also sent one to ezinearticles and they published it. Hoping for some traffic from that end now.

I'm working with ezine articles now. I have two published articles, and will be working on a third. I have had many views of the articles, and they get indexed by Google real quick. I have noticed that another site has link to my article, chich is nice to have.

I hoping that ezine articles will help draw visitors to my site.

ezinearticles.com is amazing. Next to search engine traffic that has to be one of my best traffic referrers. And like you said, Google loves that site.

I started getting visitors from ezinearticles within an hour of my article going live!

BTW, how's articlecity?

I don't get as much traffic with articlecity, even though they've been around longer than many of the other article submission sites. In fact the last few times I tried to submit, they never submitted my article. Ezinearticles just blows them out of the water with their cool account management/reporting system.

yeah you're right about the account management system. With Ezine, you get to know the status of your article and lots more. With Article City, it's hard to see whether your article is live or not and how popular it is. Does anyone know of any other website like Ezine where you can submit your articles??

I think that depends on the niche. For example, i get lots of views from dzone and tutorialized but not so many from ezine or digg.

But you guys pointed out, google crawls your ezine article right away, which is awesome and when you search for you site on google, it usually displays the enzine link to your article on top.

Two weeks ago I launched the below Tech blog in my sig. Instead of going the usual route of building links I wanted to try and take a different approach, using sites like Digg and StumleUpon. I placed two posts on both sites and within 24hrs I had over 1000 visitors and right up until today I have been getting roughly 60-70 visitors from each site.

I think it is all down to what you actually post onto those sites to really see big traffic.

Next step, how convert this kind of traffic into paying customers.

Helium is another good site for article submission. You don't get a resource box, so any links to your site have to be in your article and relevant, but there is an income potential for your articles there. You can also put your link in your profile.

Default ezinearticles.com

I tried ezinearticles.com as I read about it on this forum. So far my article hasn't been published yet I guess. It's been a few days... maybe it takes a while.

They usually publish within the first 48 hours. If you don't get it published by today, you may want to drop them an email. Could also be taking longer because it's your first.

My first one took 5 days. The next two only took a day or two. I have two more pending and they have been in for a few days, so I think they might be experiencing a heavy submission load right now.
