I wanted to ask you this. Suppose there's this person who has just made his brand new spanking website and has uploaded it. But, he has no traffic. Any ideas on how to generate traffic?? Especially for a new site??

The formula for traffic for websites is same across all niches:

1) Submit to directories
2) Post comments and participate in blog discussions
3) Join related forums and put your site in the signature
4) Open an account with adwords, Yahoo! marketing and MSN adcenter and get traffic by paying for it. You may also consider tier 2 networks like Miva, etc
5) Buy links on heavy traffic websites
6) Wait for search engines to crawl and rank your pages.

BTW, what do mean by a "brand new spanking site" ?

i just meant that the website is very new and on the web for the first time. You should know what i mean.
