Default A network for blog giveaways?

    Hey guys,

Has anyone used Giveaway before? Supposedly it connects Bloggers and Advertisers on giveaway promotions for your blog. I just signed up for an account.

Although at present my blog is currently under review. I guess they can reject a blog. But I am confident I will be approved.

Here is their website: www.giveaway.ly (affiliate link removed. Please read guidelines.)

When you submit your blog, you allow them get your Google Analytics data. I guess this helps market your blog to advertisers.

You can also set a price and be paid via PayPal. The minimum payout is $20. So you can charge an advertiser for running the competition on your blog. Plus running these competitions should help draw in traffic to your site and social media initiatives. They also recommend an amount based on your blog traffic so you know what to set.

I set the minimum recommended for right now. Just because my social media followings are non-existent.

You can also check a box that says, you are willing to take free stuff in lieu of payment. Might be useful in getting free items to review.

The one stipulation is Giveaway does take 25% of whatever the advertiser is willing to pay you. But if you can't get giveaways on your own yet, then 75% is better than 0.

This should be an interesting experiment.

Never tried them. Watch the affiliate links, though. You're new so I'll be nice this time.

Ah ok. Sorry about that. I had read those at one point. Time for review.

I will let you know how my experience goes with this Giveaway network.

Not sure yet. They had some featured advertisers. No big names. So, I am still a little skeptical. The nice part is, that you can accept or decline any offers.
