I also learned how to PREsell instead of selling. Most people who try to make money from their site with affiliate programs just put up banners or say "buy this book". Make Your Content PREsell taught me how to build credibility around products I want people to buy writing a review and building useful content around the affiliate links.
Another thing it taught me was to try to try think like my visitor and. I used to create my websites and not think much about how my visitors would perceive my content. Now instead of thinking about what I think is best I try to build my content based on what I believe my visitors would want to learn. It really does make a difference.
But the biggest lesson by far was how to PREsell. I didn't understand what that meant until I read it and that's key if you have an affiliate site.

That was some great stuff. I am particularly interested in the PRESELL. What sort of things do you do now in preselling as opposed to what you used to do?
Also, you said you learned to "Activate Your Writing." What does that mean?
Thanks,
