I have a website that I want to market but I also want to have a second and a third way of earning an income.

I have begun to advertise my website in various forums and classified add sites.

I have also heard that many classified ad sites are a waste of time - is that so ?

What I would like to know before I put a lot of time into promotion , is what are some of the
Better and less waste of time ways that a person can use as far as promoting.

I would also like to find out what some of the better business opportunities are .

I have also submitted my site to the major search engines, and to directories - but my site is not doing very well.

How about putting your web site in your signature? It's hard to know what suggestions would be helpful without some idea of what you are attempting to do.
