Thumbs up Google Analytics... If you don't use it you're nuts!

Google is amazing.

AdSense, Webmaster Tools, an amazing search engine, and my new favorite Googleicious tool - Google Analytics!

If any webmaster still hasn't started using it yet, do so NOW! It is by far the most intricate, detailed, and easy to use tool for your traffic facts. All you do is paste a simple code at the bottom of your page and then Google does all the rest. I've been using it for about 5 days now and I am extremely impressed. Not only are you shown every possible traffic fact you could ever want (average time on your site, referring sites, visitor bounce rates, etc, etc), but their new "map overlay" feature is one of the coolest gadgets I've ever played with. You can see which country, state/province/territory, and city your visits are coming from in a very clean-looking clickable world map. The amount of information you can learn about from your visitors is borderline creepy! Big brother Google is a webmaster's best friend.

If you're already using AdSense, gmail, or any other Google feature, analytics can simply be added using the same name and password!

Default Definitely!

Oh yes, we know about GA and personally, it's my favorite Google tool. I'm very pleased when I see the rising number of unique visitors I have for all three of my blogs and to see what browser they're using, how long they visit my blogs, so much more. I totally agree, GA is GREAT!

Lisa gave us the heads up on GA a while back and I've been using it since I started blogging. It's cool to see more folks are enjoying it.

Wink

Lajocar,

You're from South Africa, correct (I've always wanted to visit, it seems like such an interesting place)? If so, I saw that you gave my site 3 visits to this point! Haha, the beauty of Analytics. Thanks for checking out the site though, yours aren't too shabby, if I don't say so myself.

Yes SA is a very nice place. I'm form Cape Town South Africa. The most beautiful city in SA. With table mountain, beaches, wine routes etc.

You welcome for my 3 visits to your site. Yes analytics is cool
