Question Does anyone know the magic?

I am so frustrated that I can't get traffics to my website and make people

to click on the googleadsense ad
. My website's content is about our full

scholarship service. I believe there are so many students looking for

scholarship, but they just don't know my website. How can I do? Does

anyone know? The following is my website address:

http://www.fullscholarshipservice.com/

Hi Julia,

Can you give us more info?

1) How long have you had this site?
2) What have you done to promote it?
3) Have you done much reading on basic search engine optimization? The reason I ask is because you aren't using meta tags.

For example, your "service" page, the browser title (the title that appears at the very top of your browser" is simply "service". So if your page was to appear in Google, that would be the title... "Service." You are targeting college students so a better title would be "College Scholarship Service for Students".

Now, that's only one small piece. Adding meta tags isn't going to make traffic roll in but it will help you get noticed once the engines begin to rank you.

Here's a good, realistic site on them...

4) A big part of getting traffic is getting other related to sites to recommend you. Part of that is offering useful content that other sites aren't offering.

I noticed your site is pretty small. Is it only 7 pages or am I missing others? I'm assuming you're planning on building more?

If you want people to visit your site and click the ads, you have to offer the kind of content that will make them want to bookmark and come back. The tricky part is your site is just selling your service. So I would guess many people may either sign up and leave or leave before signing up if they decide it's not for them.

Nothing wrong with promoting your service, but if you want more traffic and people to stick around, think about putting other useful college information on your site to make it more "sticky."

P.S. If you edit your sig file "Go to UserCP" then your address will appear with every post you make.

Julia,

Please do not post the same question in multiple forums. Once is enough. I've replied and others will too eventually. Hang in there.

Lisa! Great advice to Julia! I was just thinking about starting a similar thread because it does get frustrating. This past weekend I read somewhere on your forum to add my site to www.stumbleupon.com

I got a huge jump of like 130 unique visitors in one day from 17 unique visitors.

I do hope more people post to tell us how!!!!

Thanks!
