I was wondering if anyone here had made some videos for youtube to promote their site. I am thinking about getting a camera to give it a try.

If anybody did, did it generate much traffic?

Peter,

I started doing it in August of last year and not only has it helped my traffic but my sales.... TREMENDOUSLY. Since I have a tutorial based site, video adds credibility and helps people learn better. I get emails almost everyday from people thanking me for the videos. I would say my overall income has increased by at least 25% since I started using YouTube.
