Is there any truth to making money using CPA, Cost Per Action? Supposedly you make money without having to make a sale. "You just introduce buyers to sellers."

The claim sounds good because there is no get rich quick attached. Small amounts of money can be made.

I am just cautious and wary.

These are legit, as long as you find reputable companies. I used to promote CPA offers that I found on CJ.com There was a company who would pay $2.00 for every person you got to sign up for their email account service. I made quite a bit of money some years ago. (They no longer exist). A lot of companies do this temporarily to build their brand and get exposure. If you search for CPA offers, I would start with the reputable affiliate networks (CJ, LinkShare, etc.)

Yes, there are several good CPA companies such as Azoogle, Hydra Network and others. The key is to find offers in the networks that offer free trial offers. Some of the one's I participate pay very well. However, you will have to have a landing page that converts your traffic into signups.

eBay just changed their affiliate structure to "Quality Click Pricing" and they now pay you for every click that you send to their website, even if it doesn't turn into a bid or a sale. Might be worth looking into.
