Hey guys I have a question that if I don't ad google adsense in my website then still can i make money with my website. or is it necessary to add google adsense in your website to make money. If you can money without google adsense with your website please tell me

I don't use Google Adsense but do make money selling my own products and as an affiliate for others besides offering design and graphic services etc... Adsense is not the only way to make money online... find your passion and go for it...

Well I don't want to sell any products and stuff like that. I am just asking that if you don't use google adsense then still can you make money by traffic.

There are many ways to make money from a website, google adsense is just one of them.

There are a huge number of similar programs to adsense, type "adsense alternatives" or "ppc programs" into a search engine and your find loads.

You can also making money with affiliate programs, you link to products and services on another website and if the visitor makes a purchase you earn commission.

You can sell products and services of your own.

You can sell advertising space.

Yes you can, but just what is it you are trying to accomplish with your website and what is your website about?

There's many things you can do, what I mentioned and Bunny2000 offers a lot of good ideas also...

I'm just a little confused as to what you're trying to do and what your website is going to focus on... that can be a big indicator as to what route you're going to need to take to monetize it... not all things work with all websites...

Just slapping up a website with advertising or whatever is not going to make you money... you need some forethought and planning along with some hard work to be successful online...

Do you have any plans as to what you're going to do yet?

Many ways to monetize your website.
Adsense is popular because it is easy to implement
Affiliate marketing is my major method of making money from my sites. It involves promoting other peoples products for a commission
You could also consider other ad serving services like Adbrite, shoppingads, kontera etc

And if your site is getting a significant amount of traffic, you could consider selling banner space

Many who do make a living online suggest that you include many methods of making money. Adsense is just one of they methods, and others that have replied above provided other methods.

There are alternatives to adsense, such as chitika. Both adsense and chitika can also be used on the same page.

Hey thanks. Let me tell you that my site is about computers like history, tutorials and other stuff.
and I was also thinking to make some money by adding google adsense.
That is what i want to do.

Yes you can make money without Google Adsense. Google Adsense may be a way for you to get a small steady income while you are improving your site and getting more vistors. Afiliate programs have the potential for more income but it is harder to obtain. People have to click on the ads and purchase the items. While with Google Adsense they just have to click on the ads. You can have both on your website.

There are other programs that are similar to adsense, that can draw you some money, like Adbrite, Bidvertiser and Obeus. You can use any one you wish, and they are all advertising programs.

Try affiliate marketing, or even sell your own products on your website. But i would recommend affiliate marketing! Just don't dive in head first without learning a little about affiliate marketing. Adsense is really only good if you have a high traffic website. If it's low traffic you won't make much money. Good luck!

selling your own product is a good idea, although you need to have a compelling story and a product that can work and is likely to get others to carry it and sell it for you, through clickbank for example. Adsense is worth it, if you have good traffic it can do well for you. the key with adsense is simple, each day add a couple of new things, articles that are original, posts etc. to your site. by the end of the year you will find yourself with about 500 to 600 new pages and believe me, even if you do suffer in the begining , it is worth it in the long run. be sure to get links from others and share links along the way.

My understanding is that I do believe you can have that, as long as you are not using another pay per click program on the same page, you should be fine.

I have actually been using affiliate programs for a long time, since the early days and have a bit of experience in that domain as I have even worked for an affiliate company before. I think you can make quite good money with them, but from my experience if your site is relevant to high paying keywords and is well maintained and updated you will make more money with adsense. If it is an entertainment type of site or has more of a commercial aspect in terms of you are just peddling make money programs etc, then adsense may not do as well for you.

I'd use both, but for my type of sites adsense works much better.
