Default My Website

Hello, so I recently started getting involved with websites and website development as a hobby. I seem to really enjoy it and now feel that i may have stumbled into something. I have a couple of websites most with very low traffic around 20 unique a day. However, I recently purchased a great domain name(for 7.99us) and put up my first HTML page (the other 2 are wordpress driven). Since I put the html site up i have been getting increasing traffic every day. The site has been up for 3 days and I got 500 page views yesterday. I do not have any incoming links to the site and no search engine traffic because the site has not yet even been recognized by Google.

Page Views

Visits: last 3 days its been up

Unique visitors

Now my question is what is the best way to monetize my site? Since this is an html site and only 1 page i do not want to clutter the site with ads and products. I put a paypal donate link and have gotten 11US in 2 days.

Btw, i have tried absence for 1 day, with 400 page views i have gotten 2 clicks.

It would help to know a little more about your site. What is your site about? And that must be one heck of a domain name!

Geekdout is right, it could be happening. It's better to check the unique visitors stats. I think you have too few visitors at the time so to monetize, but keep going on it and you'd probably be able to monetize soon. Moreover, a 1 page site is most times not a nice idea(too much information on one page) and it's bad for monetizing too. I'd suggest that you create more separate content with strong links from your main page.
