The economy hasn't seemed to affect my sales too much, but that could be due to my niche. I've seen a slight decline with my flat stomach exercises site but that's not surprising due to the niche. Even though weight loss is always in demand, buying books and DVD's would not be a priority if people are cutting back. On the flip side, 2 Create a Website is going strong and I attribute that to the fact a lot of people are going online to create sites after losing their job or facing the risk of losing their job. So I definitely think it depends on the niche.

The economy did affect a lot of businesses in the physical world, however in the virtual world for those who know how to play the cards we are benefiting from the recession. The economy is forcing a lot of small businesses to close, while others are submerging themselves in the www to as a last effort of survival.
