What are flat rate ads?
I heard a few people mention this and im not sure exactly what it is, but if its a way to make morem oney than i wanna try it.
I have google adsense on my site now. I recenty put in on actually only 3 or 4 days ago and I made $20 so far. Anyways I get regular traffic from people
here is the adsense report for the full month the site has been opened
6,229 Visits
74,930 Pageviews
12.03 Pages/Visit 34.47% Bounce Rate
00:07:29 Avg. Time on Site
45.29% % New Visits
So I am hoping to branch out with maybe another payperclick advertising company that I can get money for or other ways to make money. I am interested in affiliate programs but not sure where to start with this type of site.

Flat rate ads are where advertisers pay you a flat rate for an ad instead of CPM or CPC. So let's say someone pays you $30 for a monthly ad, that's a flat-rate ad. I use AdBrite to manage some of my flat rate ads and for others I just use PayPal. I'm leaning toward getting rid of AdBrite and just using PayPal since PayPal now handles recurring billing. A very handy feature.

I have another question now.
I am getting about 3,000 unique visitors to my site a month and growing fast, how do I go about advertising that I want to start with flat rate advertising and how do I figure out what to charge.

Do you use AdSense? If so, use your eCPM rate (check your reports). For example if it's $5.00 that means you earn $5.00 for every 1,000 ad impressions. So if your site gets 5,000 hits per month then you would charge $25/month.

Why thank you. I learned that from someone's site but can't remember who it was. But I thought it was a very useful way of figuring out what to charge.
