I make a stable monthly income that pays my bills but it hasn't been without hard work.
Like most people I started off knowing zero about the on-line world and having zero bank balance. I discovered the topic of Adsense and affiliate programs and stated to take up on the subject. I learned HTML, CSS and SEO to a degree that would get me good results.
On the launch of my first site it had about 30 or so pages and started to rank really well on Google within about 4 months. After the climb in ranks the traffic climbed and so did the profits. It wasn't until the 6th month that I hit the $100 bridge - for those that know that bridge can seem very distant.
I wasn't satisfied in trying to make millions on one site alone so I built another. This time my niche was something that I knew a lot of, had a big demand but would also pay nicely. After a while the traffic started coming in and the my earning went up again. I was amazed at how easy a web page could make money but there again I did put a lot of sweat into my content.
It didn't take me long to learn about blogs and the power behind them and of course I had to go launch 5 (at different times). They covered a range of topics and ranked well within the Search Engines. All earnings came from Adsense and some via Amazon.
Right now I have a number of sites and blogs under my name with each one bringing in a nice monthly sum. The last site I've launched is solely to work with PPC and an affiliate program.
