AGLOCO?
www.agloco.com... what do y'all think? I'm not sure. It might be cool later on when they get out of beta.

I don't know if you guys remember but there was a program around 6 or 7 years ago called Advantage and it worked a lot like Agloco, but it wasn't quite as complex. For example, they paid you just to use the viewbar and refer members and your referrals didn't have to buy anything. It went belly up after about a year.
I think just like anything else, if you have the right kind of traffic to recruit people to the network then you could possibly earn quite a bit, but it will be interesting to see if it holds up.

I DO remember that program, Lisa except I think it was called All Advantage. I actually got some pretty decent sized checks for a few months. Memories!
I haven't checked out Agloco but I assumed it was more of the old All Advantage stuff. Maybe because they aren't just paying people for recruiting more people, they'll stick around. I'll be a-watchin!

All Advantage!! YES! That was it. Yes, Agloco really reminds me of that program. I've been reading all the buzz about it but haven't heard much about any Agloco checks. Are you still using it Shaun?

Ah, nope, I turned it off. It was a bit irritating and took up the bottom section of my screen, even if I was off line or was doing Word or something.
They say it's still in Beta. Considering that, I'll just wait till they aren't. :P

AGLOCO is Kaput!
I read on the most recent Affiliate Summitt Newsletter that AGLOCO is now finished. Below is an excerpt from the Newsletter. Just thought you would all like to know. Hope nobody has been affected by this.
"We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com.
We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.
AGLOCO Development Team"

Not surprised. To me that program was like the AllAdvantage version for 2007 and I think that program folded for the same reasons. It's hard to generate enough revenue for these kinds of programs to pay out so many members.

Here I go showing my web design age again...(do I sound insecure...hmmm)
Up until I joined this forum, I was beginning to think earning money online was a scam in most cases. But to hear you guys talk, it's an everyday thing.
Lisa, I'm gonna read your book.
This is very good info. We (my wife and I) have been looking for something for her to do from home. I want everyone's best advice. No holding back now.

AGLOCO
The one thing I've learned about beta is your beta off to just stay away from it.
The host where my sites at is called freeweb and they have a beta version of a site building program they offer. I can tell by the amount of complaints over it alone It was wiser to not use it.
