JaMina, yes I have. In fact I am in the process of creating another section here just for frequently asked questions and informative posts. The forum will be turned off for discussion but it will be like a resource area for people to review. Now I just need the time to finish it all.

Default Terrific idea, Lisa

Great idea, Lisa. It will add a whole new dimension to the site and move its value up a notch.

There are basically two ways of giving yourself instant credibility:

1. Design of Site
Websites HAVE to look professional. Sure, the occasional cheepy looking one makes it, but they could have done a lot better with a great design. Once you start making revenue, it might be a great idea to invest a pro-webmaster who has a fantastic portfolio to design your site. If you are using wordpress, check out premium themes.

2. Style of Content
Half of great content is content that /acts/ like it's great. I learned this in five years of formal debate. The number one secret to success is to /sound/ like you know what you're talking about. Confidence. Facts. Style. Check out Copyblogger.com for great ways to spiffy up your style.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the site reference. I'm really glad I decided to check it out.

It is a terrific source for a number of reasons. The design and layout is outstanding. I will be devoting some time to figure out how some of it is done. Hope it doesn't require any new languages beyond what I am working on now—but I can't resist learning how to do some of it.

But just as important (perhaps more so) it has a lot of great help for writing to grab attention and produce results (sales included). Again, my thanks for the tip and I am glad, having looked at it, to encourage others here to check it out.

Yes, I LOOVE the Copyblogger theme! I honestly have not seen a design that was half as useful, smooth, professional or sexy. ;-) My favorite part is how the designer didn't worry about sectoring off the entire site...the images kind of flowed all over the place.

The content being outrageously amazing doesn't hurt, either. ;-)

I am still confused as how will people come to know whether my website id authentic or not. Who gives the certification to websites for their authenticity. How will people believe on my website. This is my major concern. Lisa, if you could help me.

Shibu and fedrar818,

In fact, no one can give you credibility but yourself. It is your integrity and the content of your work that counts in the long run.

Take this site for instance. There are a lot of sites that propose to help people with their web work. Some are huff and puff. Some are hodge podge copies of simplistic stuff from others. Some are just marketing. But when you come here you find two things. Lisa and others tell it like it is. And, you always find some useful information.

Integrity. Tell it like it is. Content. Offer people something they want and need.

No one can give these to you. You reflect them on your site and your name grows out of them.
