I been un-employed for 8 months. I started my own company and I'm trying to build a site I can live off of. I think it takes time... But I'm a dreamer... and you never know. It only takes one good idea.

I've been unemployed since January 20... ugh almost 11 months (with the exception of doing some temporary work for a couple weeks in October). So it would be wonderful to live off my site and not have to worry about finding a job.

After Lisa posted the video about my site on November 2nd, I finally got around to looking at September and October's numbers (my mom died in September and I allowed myself to slack off a bit) so when I told her how much I was making monthly, I quoted my $1000 earnings for August because I didn't have those numbers for Sept and October figured out yet. I found out that I made just over $1400 in September and just over $2,000 in October. So since August, my monthly income doubled. I had a lot of website expenses this month, so I don't expect a record month, but I'm looking forward to the future.

I guess I count as one who lives or rely on my online work for income. I;ve been working two jobs online and it's pretty much giving me more earning than I do in any regular jobs that I am qualified with that's not online. I hope this runs till I'm old.

Well because our niches are totally unrelated, I didn't get many clicks from the youtube video - and I didn't expect many. Just a couple clicks here and there. My traffic has actually stayed around the same. 1500-2200 visitors a day. I believe one of the pages on my site (gift ideas) got a little more popular, and it brought in some more money in the form of commissions.

Not yet! That's because of the vision I have for my site, it will take time getting small businesses to sign up initially. The site is in direct competition with other online directories for the purpose of filling the database before launching phase 2 services.

At this stage the kinks & bugs are being ironed out before an official launch can proceed.

Those are some pretty good figures for september and octomber. What income methods did u use? If u feel uncomfortable saying them, at least could you say the number of income methods u use? i mean by income method something like:
- adSense(contextual ads)
- selling space on your site for publicity
- hosting reselling
- selling products through affiliate programs
I am hoping to hear from you.
