Default What Are Your 2008 Goals?

I have been creating some goals for 2008 and one of the big ones is to become a more proficient, active blogger. It's always been a secondary task for me and I plan to focus more on it next year.

I have spent the past few months soaking up the content on Darren Rowse's blog, http://www.problogger.com - such a great site. I love his style and could sit and read his blog all day. If you haven't read his post, "Best of ProBlogger 2007" then you should give it a read....

You can learn a lot from him and how he blogs. I love how he ties in real life situations and blogging while sprinkling in his personality. So anyway, that's one of my big goals for 2008.

Do you have any goals for next year to help make your site more profitable/successful?

I would like to take in at least 100 visitors each day and at least a 4.5 CTR with my google ad sense.

My more personal goals would be to 'enjoy' updating my wesite and regularly referring to book as long as on-line references to insure my content is the both a unique blend and 100% factual source of information.

My goals are to keep adding content to my sites and continue to promote them. On a more tangible level, I have set the goal of earning enough from them in the first year to pay for the next years hosting/domain fees.

That means I have to make at least $300 on my SBI site or I will give it up. I have already met that goal for my craft site, so no problems there.

my main goals are to keep building content for both of my sites about keywords which people search for and are not too well supplied. The next goal to to keep building up backlinks to my sites.

also, maybe start a third site in a few months when my first two have enough content. :-)

One of my biggest goals for 2008 is to stop working so much. Now that I've really got my sites the way I want them, I want to just focus on my primary business and maybe a bit more blogging, some lenses and hubs, just the little things that will enhance my sites and bring more traffic.

The main reason I work from home is to spend more time with my little guy, but I still work too much. Of course, I need to work enough to sustain enough income to continue, but I want to cut my hours a bit now that I've got a lot of things set up.

Happy New Year!

Sheree
