Twitter vs FaceBook Traffic
Twitter used to be a very good marketing tool, but i have to say if your aiming for real organic, and targeted leads then you should put more effort on facebook. Cause they will see more of you or your product on facebook.
Just have twitter as a backup in case they want to follow you or be updated with your latest updates.

It’s been proven that twitter can be easily used as a self-promotion tool, to promote your content, products and services. With the simple concept of broadcasting your message in 140 words, although short, to your followers.
Twitter message often called tweets is broadcasted in “real time” to your reader.
So, It’s a combination of blogging, RSS and social networking that makes twitter the top 50 Websites By Alexa.
But I also face the problem of untargeted traffic!

I know that on twitter you have your updates, and people follow you for your updates and or just to follow you, and then some people find you by seeing that your being followed by someone they are following, so they follow you and then see your website.. or something..
But how exactly do you promote traffic on facebook?

I post my RSS feed on Twitter, but haven't found much traffic from the service. I prefer to concentrate on increase my SERP as that is where most of my blog traffic comes from.

I don't get face book at all. I notice that when I have tweet about my forum I do get bot sign ups which are so annoying lol. I also have bot sign ups to my site. I am going to put a captcha to my site so that will stop bot sign ups hopefully.
At first I was just happy that someone was signing up. I didn't care if it was a cat, dog, bot, human whatever. Now it's just annoying!!

Twitter is the source of promoting and attracting as well. Here you can share your contents market your product as well as by this you can promote you website easily to the number of people and its features as well.
Whereas on other side Facebook can be an effective source of attracting more and more traffic towards your website.

Twitter recorded 2. 3 million visitors in previous months. It indicates that twitter brings a lot of traffic. This site is recorded as a great source of traffic. Face book also did the same. They offers more traffic than Google.Facebook gets over a third of the number of unique visitors that Google. If Facebook's growth continues the way it has been, perhaps it should be considered Google's greatest threat.

I get a lot of traffic from Twitter and it is a great way to stay informed. I follow some news sites, social media sites, and some website babblers too! It is a great way to find people in your niche and to help build your credibility. One word of caution, when someone follows you, don't follow them back until you look to see what kinds of things they tweet about. If they are just sending the same tweet over and over again, or if they tweet about "how you can make money online" you can block them if you want.
At this point I'm basically a twitter addict so if anyone wants more help you can leave me a message.
I like FaceBook also and I just became a fan of someone that I met on Twitter, so the two tools can work together effectively.
