i have been working on this site for a while now but i feel like i am stuck. i use rhuk_milkyway template of joomla 1.5

First of all i want the logo to sit on a black background and if possible add some texts or links on the header, but inside the joomla template i don't know which code to edit in order to get this done.

Have a question and hopefully can get some feedback.

I have built a website that will contain both paid and free pages. Has anyone built a subscription site and if so, what software do you use?

There are some really expensive ones out there and looking to stay away from them.
I already have the site built using xhtml and css. I don't want to reinvent the wheel and buy into one that is a CMS and have to dissect my site and start over. I also want to limit the user to a certain number of isps so there is no password sharing. I will be using Paypal as my payment processor.

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Sorry if I posted this under the wrong header.

I have created a site using joomla and it looks great, now im working on some forms which I require some assistance with.

PART 1: I am using BF Forms for Joomla 1.5 v 02.169 and would like the information entered on 1st form to be pre-populated on a second form as part of a process.

Can this be done using the action "Execute PHP Code" -(You can interact with an API, POST data to another file, or anything else you want)? If the answer is YES, then may need someone to help me achieve the result im looking for. / If the answer is NO, then how can i get the 2nd form to be pre-poulated with info from the form before it (1st form)?

PART 2: Would like to create a "hidden field" in multiple forms that i have on my site. I understand BF forms, but cant quite figure out why when i create a new hidden field and i want it populated with my lead source, it does not work. I go to options and type in what value i want in that field, but does not appear to be working.

Any ideas? Does anyone have experience with this?

Over the past few months I have been working on becoming knowledgeable with regard to cutting edge inbound marketing techniques. Up until now, I have been doing contract work for a company in the healthcare industry and am looking forward to seeing some improvements in their traffic flow and customer conversion rates. Anyway, its been awhile since I wrote on this forum, and I am now re-surfacing to put my new inbound marketing knowledge to work in a site of my own. I plan to build something that is sort of social media-like and will require members to enter personal data into a searchable database. I'm thinking I should be careful not to box myself in by using a CMS or free software that will end up being too limiting in the long run, although I admit I don't know if my concerns are unfounded (Joomla and Drupal might be just fine - I have no clue). I thought I should probably steer to Dreamweaver, only because of its flexibility, but have found that you can spend anything from $400 to literally thousands. So here are my questions (sorry for the long post):

1. will Joomla or Drupal support a database?
2. What components of Dreamweaver are 'must have' for what I want to do?
