Is there any harm, and is there a potential benefit, for having multiple websites for the same local business? I'm a carpet cleaner, and I own 4 domains with local city names + keywords in them, and I'd like to try different marketing/website formats and see what works best.

Obviously, there's no harm for me if one site knocks someone else's off, or even mine. Such as the words "Tips" and "Advice" if Tips gets more searches then I would want to use that in the domain name instead of advice right?
